Ben Mackay

Just here to make sense of the world in the small time I have here. A return of rational thinking and logic would be a good start tho.....

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@ArsenalRadar Hope Marli comes on Sunday to hit that 5 appearance mark. Also takes up some of those rb minutes before psg

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

#MOTD Don't know where you're getting your stats from but arsenal defo have had many 3 goal leads since 2024. How do you beat Leeds 5-0 and 4-0 this season alone without doing so?... Not to mention both NLDs. Beat city 5-1 last Feb too

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@R17mc @kimmoFC I think the key point there is that LEEDS did it. Y'know, relegation threatened, away against a big 6 team manager might get the sack soon Leeds. Not 10x premier league winning former champions of Europe, coached by one of (if not the) goat manager, Manchester City

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@DamonHeta180 Breakfast muffin.

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@JLA_FC @David_Ornstein Intriguing. Does this mean a slight change in system to get him in his preferred 10 position or are they going to shoehorn him in elsewhere. Brilliant player but unsure whether this liverpool side is the best fit to see his best football

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@tha_CEO_ Yh, I think he's 4th by my count. Allison and Raya are definitely clear and edersons distribution puts him above him too (even if I find his shot stopping shaky at times).

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@jackendean11 @gIadgan @DougieCritchley Shouldn't matter as they aren't inflated by playing only 30 mins a game on as a sub like say Duran. Per90 should always be the metric used for player comparison. A lot of the game highlights don't do him justice. What he does all game long is a little outrageous tbh

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@JLA_FC @FotMob Too much of the same profile crammed into one team. Lewis and trent with a lone pivot is a disastrous idea. But most importantly, England look uncoached. No attacking patterns of play and woeful rest defence. I'm worried Carsley isn't cut out for this ridiculously talented group

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@TheAthleticFC If he's to start, it has to be foden at 10 Bellingham as an 8 and Gordon/Eze playing on the left. The team is too 1 dimensional with no progression down the left. Side note: this "hoofing it" business with half an hour to go isn't on. All these players are good enough to pass.

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@JLA_FC @primevideosport Everton last season would be worth a watch surely

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@PulseSportsNG SV Werder Bremen

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@Gooner_Eurychus Dennis, Rice, Sanchez and Pires (overmars is unbelievably close)

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@Gooner_Eurychus Fabregas, cazorla then wilshere. Don't think nasri has earnt being put amongst these names, arteta was a steady eddie player tbh and both özil and Ramsey frustrated me in almost equal measure as they impressed me. Rosicky I see as a cult hero. One of the best goal comps out there

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@3rubengoat Henry

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@EASPORTSFC Fabregas, Totti or David villa. For an old school shout, perhaps a Paul merson

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@ValorINTEL Back box

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@FabrizioRomano @RisingBallers_ Neither of those teams

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@xhuy20 @itskaplan 1 point for each win in international LEAGUE matches. So splits 1 and 2. Only winning tournaments gets 3 points. Everyone else gets jack at masters events

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@Prkhr_Varshney @itskaplan Not unless they win.

[Ben Mackay @BenMackay1]

@jamesallcott Pundits clamouring to "protect referees" (carra and neville predominantly) when they've spent years doing it for a living both on and off the pitch. Its the hypocrisy that gets me as the sentiment I (Predominantly) agree with. Doesn't mean they can get away with BAD decisions tho
