#IconTC#IconESN Welcome to this presentation. ‘WEATHERING THE STORM: Protecting museums and their collections from a changing climate’ as part of the @iconesn Twitter Conference
📣 WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT ANNOUNCEMENT 📣 I will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for THE MOST MUSEUMS VISITED IN 24 HOURS, supported by a team of fabulous volunteer witnesses working in shifts, in London on Friday 25th October 🏛🏃♂️🏛
Two questions that you may be able to help with to assist with this World Record Attempt 🤔💡
1. Do you have any suggestions for museums* in Central London that we should definitely try to build in to the attempt if we can?
2. Do you know of any museums that may be open to the public* before 1000 or after 1700 (normal museum opening hours) as this will assist in extending the time available for the attempt.
This visit to @thevasamuseum Stockholm was jaw dropping 😱. What an achievement to have this object on open display in such an impressive setting, a big 👏 to all involved in operating, maintaining and developing this fantastic site 🏛️⚓️🇸🇪
A question for you 🤔
Do you want to:
- Support organisations delivering public benefit?
- Work with an amazing people?
- Put sustainability at the heart of your work?
- Be a part of projects that enhance our most prestigious cultural institutions?

Whilst on site at @RMGreenwich today I took some time to visit the free exhibition Women of the @RNLI 🛟. A really interesting mixed media exhibition with some wonderful film, photography, infographics and objects.
@RNLI On this wet island, where many of us spend time on or near water, it is a great reassurance to know they are there and willing to put themselves into danger for the benefit of others. 🙏🛟
