“I don't feel defensive. I feel offensive,” Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Benjamin Moser, author of Anti-Zionism: A Jewish History, tells Palestine Deep Dive. “I have nothing but loathing and contempt for the people and the institutions that have allowed a genocide to happen in my name, with my money,” he continues.
Discussing the Green Party of England and Wales' approach to shifting the conversation around Israel and Palestine, following the adoption of its motion declaring Zionism to be racism, Irish journalist and commentator Barry Malone observes: “The Greens were bumping the Overton window… I think they're through it now.”
"I very much hope that they won't backtrack," Moser adds. "I think it would be really devastating if they did. But again, I don't think they need to dig their heels in with this. If I were the Green Party, I would just say, yeah, next question, because, yeah, of course Zionism is racism. Moving along, what's your next question? Because otherwise, you get stuck in this rhetorical quicksand where you're always defensive."

Ben Moser's next book should be called Not One Jew where he explores why unlike Germans in Nazi Germany or whites in apartheid South Africa no Jew has ever taken up arms against the Zionist state and what that says about the relationship between Zionism and Judaism
.@BenMoser123 takes on the Gate Keepers: liberal zionists, epitomised by the @NewYorker, represent a "fixed position" that performs distress over Gaza while masking deep complicity. By manufacturing consent for genocide they violate "moral hygiene" (1:35:00 min+). 🔥
@NateB_Panic Hi, I’ve read you for a long time and truly have no idea where you get the idea that I would say or think that only Jews are allowed to be anti-Zionists.
BENJAMIN MOSER COME TO THE FRONT!!!! What A Savage Smack Down! 🔥 I LOVE IT!!! Carry on @BenMoser123 Its always refreshing to see an anti-zionist Jew shut down a zionist Jew 👏🏾
It’s not my style to address negative reviews, but I sat down with @KnowYrEnemyPod to discuss why I consider one reviewer not only to be wrong but to be immoral and indeed unhygienic.
Awaiting “fact checking” on whether manufacturing consent for genocide is good or bad!
New @KnowYrEnemyPod! We talked to Benjamin Moser about his provocative, brilliant book, Anti-Zionism: A Jewish History. Ben was such a great guest, please listen and share https://t.co/OuanRTMPv1
Infinite relief to learn that @infinite_jaz is safely back home. Infinite fear for all the Palestinians still trapped by the infinitely evil tyranny that rules over every aspect of their lives.
.@the_andrey_x and I were charged with assault, along with five other offenses. After being kept up all night and interrogated for seven hours, we finally saw a judge. He watched the footage and concluded it was clearly a one-sided attack and that we were the victims. His response was to ban us from the West Bank for two months, let the police keep my phone, and bring no charges against the settlers he had just watched attack us.
When intelligent, moral Jewish voices speak out such as that of @BenMoser123 it’s a powerful reminder that Judaism and Zionism are not synonymous. It harnesses other voices not given a platform making it more likely people feel an insistence in acting collectively.
Moser also stated that Israeli political blocs have no fundamental differences over the treatment of Palestinians, describing a broad political consensus behind keeping millions confined in Gaza in an “open-air concentration camp.” Electoral rivalries, he said, are largely driven by personal ambitions for power and money.
It’s not that I didn’t engage with these people for my entire life. I did. But at a certain point, and a genocide might be a “certain point,” you just realize that we can’t debate ourselves out of this.
“Zionism has brought millions of people to a state of utter derangement,” Pulitzer Prize winner Benjamin Moser said, noting that pro-Israel commentators struggle to even acknowledge that Palestinians are human.
Moser questioned the value of platforming such views in the name of “balance,” comparing it to debating the merits of Nazism or inviting a member of the KKK to provide an opposing perspective when interviewing a Black guest.

Our 12-hour-long deep dive into History of Gaza is already our most popular series ever- people are super hungry to understand all the nuances of this contested past
Imagine if the vast majority of Muslims proclaimed ISIS as representative of all of our ethics and values and beliefs. Imagine we called any criticism of violent terrorism “islamophobia” over and over and over. Would anyone believe our cries of rising bigotry?
They dropped @macklemore from a stadium tour for saying Free Palestine. Then he sold out arenas in Dublin, Paris & London, all for Gaza aid. They called it avoiding controversy. I was in Paris w/ thousands of ppl demanding out loud that children not be bombed.
