That foam may be one of the warnings your kidneys can give you. And there may not be another obvious one.
Now, everybody’s urine can foam a little because of the force of the urine. That usually settles within seconds and means nothing.
I am talking about foam that is still sitting there when you look back.
Here is why I am making noise about it.
Your kidneys are filters. They remove waste from your blood and keep useful things like protein in your body.
So when protein starts showing up in your urine, it can mean the kidney’s filter is becoming damaged.
And this damage can happen quietly.
No pain. No warning.
It can happen over years because your kidneys do not have the kind of nerves that make you feel pain when they are being damaged. They can keep working until they are no longer able to work properly.
By the time you feel something, a lot of the damage may have already happened.
That is why this small sign matters.
The test, by name:
› Urinalysis — most labs can do this for very little. It checks your urine for protein.
› If it shows anything, ask for a urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio (UACR). This is more specific and can detect kidney damage earlier than a general urine test.
Two names. Write them down.
Now, what actually causes kidney damage?
It is almost never mysterious.
The two major roads to kidney damage in this country are high blood pressure and high blood sugar, especially when they stay high for years without being controlled.
Painkillers taken regularly for many years can also damage the kidneys.
Unlabelled herbal preparations are another risk, and people often overlook them.
So if you notice persistent foam in your urine, ask yourself:
What is my blood pressure?
What is my blood sugar?
What medications or painkillers have I been taking regularly?
And here is where I stop. On purpose.
I am not going to sit here and tell you what to eat for a damaged kidney on a public page.
And if you see a page doing that, leave it.
Because early kidney disease and late kidney disease do not always require the same diet.
Protein and potassium, for example, may need to be handled differently depending on the person and the stage of kidney disease.
I cannot see your results, so I cannot safely tell you what your body needs.
What I will tell you is this:
Many of the things that can take a person down this road can be prevented or controlled, and I have already shared information about them on this page for free.
Go and ask for a urinalysis this week.
That is information that could matter for the next twenty years of your life.
And if you have already been told that there is protein in your urine and you do not know what to eat, that is a conversation, not a public post.
Bring the actual result. My messages are open.

Ketonazole is banned by NAFDAC not because people are abusing it.
But because the drug when taken in its normal dosage can cause life threatening damages to the liver.
I pity the masses that have taken this medication before.
EFCC just discovered $5 billion, pre-written future election results, ₦1 trillion worth of gold necklaces, and 200 exotic cars during a raid in the Umuahia residence of former Abia State Governor T. A. Orji.
The operation was reportedly carried out after the former governor allegedly failed to honor multiple EFCC invitations for questioning and was said to have gone into hiding for several months.
If you are 30 and above, you do not need three meals a day. Nobody does.
Two meals.
One around midday.
One before evening closes.
Meat.
Fish.
Eggs.
Vegetables that grew from the ground, not from a factory.
No wheat.
No sugar.
No seed oil.
No malt drink you have convinced yourself is “malt, not soda.”
Drink water.
Add salt to your food.
Sleep.
Move your body.
Your grandfather did not eat cereal at 7am and a sandwich at 1pm and rice at 9pm. He ate when there was food, and he buried fewer of his age mates from sugar than you will.
Start today with two meals.
That is the whole instruction.

When I made a post advising Fubara to step down and quietly go back home to reflect on his life choices, most of you countered me and suggested that I simply did not like him.
But the truth is this: you cannot fight for someone who has never made you a hero. You will lose that battle every single time.
I suggested that he should withdraw from politics because I have seen that Fubara lacks almost every quality a Governor should possess, not to even talk of a Rivers State Governor.
Since 1999, every Rivers State Governor finished office and still climbed the national stage to contribute their quota to national politics. It was during Fubara’s time that this long standing record suddenly changed.
It was also during this same Fubara era that Nigerians witnessed something unbelievable; a police officer splashing and baptizing a sitting Governor with water right inside Government House without facing any consequence or even a simple query.
Fubara was so weak that even a gardener could decide when the Governor should enter his own house or when he should not meet his wife, and he wouldn't even challenge or resist it.
The real sympathy in Fubara’s withdrawal from the gubernatorial race is not even that he ended his own political career. The real pain is that he destroyed the political future of people who supported him, people who were already in politics long before he arrived. People like Edison Ehie and Boma Goodhead may forever blame their "chi" for allowing their paths to cross with Fubara.
Fubara was willing to throw anybody under the bus as long as he survived. Those who stood with him lost political fortunes, faced intimidation and sacrificed everything simply because they supported a man who was not bold enough to protect them when it mattered most.
At the end of the day, Fubara’s story teaches three painful lessons. First, never start a battle you cannot win. Secondly, never follow a man who cannot guarantee your interest. And lastly, never accept favours when you may not have the means to pay the price attached to them.
I just hope he saved enough money sha, because from where I stand, it looks like he has ended his political career completely and may never come close to power again.

On liver cancer and what to do;
This is very important information:
One of the commonest causes of liver cancer is Hepatitis B (which is an infection/inflammation of the liver).
You can get hepatitis B through:
Unprotected sex,
Sharing needles as a drug user,
Unsafe blood transfusions,
Sharing clippers with others,
Getting tattoos at unsafe/unaccredited places,
On unprotected sex,
The risk is higher with unprotected anal sex, especially with multiple partners, and especially in men who have sex with men,
Untreated/undiagnosed hepatitis can lead to liver inflammation, liver damage and liver cancer.
What to do:
Please avoid unsafe/unprotected sex,
Please avoid multiple sex partners,
Please avoid sharing needles and clippers, please avoid getting tattoos at medically unsafe/unaccredited centers,
Most importantly;
PLEASE GO AND GET THE HEPATITIS B VACCINE. This singular action can save your life.
The hepatitis B vaccine protects from hepatitis B for a lifetime and prevents liver cancer. You only take 3 doses of the vaccine and you are protected for a lifetime from hepatitis B infection.
•1st Shot - At any given time.
•2nd Shot - At least one month (or 28 days) after the 1st shot.
•3rd Shot - At least 4 months (16 weeks) after the 1st shot and 2 months after the 2nd shot.
The hepatitis B vaccine is also known as the first “anti-cancer” vaccine because it prevents hepatitis B infection which is the leading cause of liver cancer worldwide.
Please go to any general hospital, reputable private hospital or accredited pharmacy near you and request to get the Hepatitis B vaccine.

On Hypertension,
Maybe the problem isn’t salt. Maybe it’s what your body is missing.
Everyone keeps shouting, “Reduce your salt!”
But new research just turned that advice on its head.
Yes, sodium can raise blood pressure.
But guess what lowers it even more powerfully?
Potassium.
Heres what the study found:
— Doubling sodium increased BP by just 2 to 4 mmHg in men
— But doubling potassium lowered BP by 7 to 10 mmHg
— Even with high sodium, potassium still dropped BP by 5 to 7 mmHg
Potassium reversed the damage even in a salty environment.
So while you’re busy skipping salt, your body is screaming for potassium:
— To relax blood vessels
— To support your kidneys
— To regulate your heart
— To help insulin work better
— To pull sodium where it belongs, out
Less than 2% of adults are getting enough potassium.
And it shows in the stroke wards, dialysis clinics, and hypertension charts.
Here’s where to get it:
— Ugu
— Zobo
— Avocados
— Beans
— Garden eggs
— Coconut water (fresh, not bottled)
— Unripe plantain
— Bitterleaf
— Okra
Eat those like your blood pressure depends on it, because it does.
You don’t have a salt problem.
You have a mineral imbalance problem.

Low blood sugar is an insulin resistance problem.
Drinking sugary drinks and eating everytime is not the solution.
Several factors which causes this are:
1)POTASSIUM DEFICIENCY.
SOLUTION: Avocado, green leafy vegetables and vegetables salad, eaten first to boost blood pottasium levels.
2) ADRENAL FATIGUE
SOLUTION: proper stress management, grounding and sleep
3) INSULIN GROWTH FACTOR. This helps your body converts other substances to glucose when you are not eating, and when it is deficient, it can cause Low blood sugar.
4) FATTY LIVER AND CIRRHOSIS. This means your liver function is poor, and glycogen cannot also be stored.
SOLUTION: Low carb diets, fasting and eating healthy fats.
This is getting to the root of the problem and tackling it head on, not using band aid like drinking coke and eating 6 meals a day.
Thanks for reading.

Stop Telling People You Made Me, I Stood By You When You had Nothing to Offer Me — Benjamin Kalu Replies Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.
“Your Excellency, It is a lie that you brought me into politics . I was the National Chairman of PDP in diaspora covering 9 provinces, attending National conventions on invitation in this country, fully paid for by PDP NWC without knowing you President Obasanjo gave me land in Abuja as one of the best Diaspora Chairmen without me knowing you in 2000/2001, even when you were the Governor .
The first time I met you , I came with an introductory note from Alhaji Shaibu Oyedokun ( he is still alive and over 90 years now ), who was the then Deputy National Chairman, South . He did not meet me on the street, he met me in politics.
If you brought me into politics, some one that highly placed in politics won’t be introducing me to you. Infact you rather got worried that I knew such person in politics .
If you brought me into politics , how come I fought your nomination for Bende House of Representatives in 2002 primaries against the 2003 National Assembly elections, questioning the primaries that never took place yet you were declared winner.
If you brought me into politics why would the party set up reconciliation committee headed by Chief PC Onyegbu now the Traditional Ruler of Ugwunkpa ? The resolution of the committee was for me to stop fighting your candidate but to support him at the elections and thereafter, I will be compensated with LGA Chairmanship and i obliged.
If you brought me into politics , you would have allowed my Chairmanship to breathe but you truncated it before it could see the light of the day, promising you wanted me as Commissioner , only to cancel that as well within a few days of making the announcement. Let me ask you is that what people who bring others to politics do?
I was the one who despite all odds, supported your second bid in 2003 with both money, men and materials for all your campaigns . The bank statement is there and other pieces of evidence for my support on your second term bid. Remember Terminus Hotel Aba fund raising for you and my contribution in 2002 for your 2003 elections ?
Is it true that you made me a Rep member ? People who make others Rep members don’t join opposition secretly to fight against a man they called to run under their party ( then PPA), you did it with the member representing Bende then, that happened in 2011, you repeated it in 2015 , partnering with PDP candidate against your own party member you asked to come and run . What have you not done to destroy my career ? You personally made this confession of deceit to me, forgetting I wasted funds and time for eight years of those elections thinking you were genuine.
People who send others to reps. You called a meeting in your house before primaries and hit your hand on the table shouting “ 1 am done , I have withdrawn my support, you are on your own, I am no longer backing you to the primaries elections, after which you walked out of the meeting and your younger brother there insisted that the young woman you brought to run against the man you claim and boast to the world you brought into politics and made a Rep , will never step down for him . Infact your brother in the presence of other people in the meeting stated “ over his dead body , there will be no stepping down for any one , aga adoya ado” Gaddafi and Obinudo including , actualisation ( Ebonyi state APC Chairman ) were there.
Let me ask if you knew what played out after that? You sent hoodlums led by one Mr. Paul from Itumbuzo to attack and snatch the materials for primaries but I over powered them and taught him a lesson. That’s how people send others to the house of reps ?
You knew what happened with my primaries result after compilation or should I remind you that it got disappeared and you laughed at me when you were told ? Until God intervened, one day will be a day of confession .
FACT: Your liver is clearing your oestrogen. Your gut is putting it back.
This is the mechanism almost nobody in Nigeria is talking about, and it is quietly affecting hormone balance.
Your liver does its job.
It takes excess oestrogen and processes it through a pathway known as glucuronidation.
This process binds oestrogen to another compound so it becomes water-soluble and ready for elimination.
Oestrogen packaged.
Labelled for disposal.
Moving toward the exit.
Then it reaches the gut.
In the gut, certain bacteria produce an enzyme called beta-glucuronidase.
This enzyme can reverse what the liver just did.
It removes the compound attached to the oestrogen.
Reactivates it.
And allows it to be reabsorbed back into the bloodstream.
The liver did its job.
The gut can undo it.
This process is known as enterohepatic recirculation.
It is not theory.
It is documented in scientific literature.
The group of gut bacteria involved in this process is sometimes referred to as the estrobolome.
When the gut is functioning well:
Bacterial balance is stable.
Digestion is efficient.
Elimination is regular.
In that state, hormone recycling stays controlled.
Some oestrogen is reused, which is normal.
Most is removed.
But when the gut environment is disrupted:
From long-term dietary patterns.
Highly processed foods.
Refined oils.
Low fibre intake.
Irregular eating patterns.
The balance can shift.
The bacteria producing this enzyme may become more active.
More oestrogen gets reactivated.
More returns to circulation.
Less leaves the body.
The result is a cycle.
The body is recycling what it was trying to eliminate.
The man with “normal” testosterone on paper who still feels off:
Low energy.
Increased abdominal fat.
Changes in body composition.
Reduced drive.
His testosterone may be within range.
But hormone balance is more than a single number.
It is a system.
And that system includes the gut.
Short-term fixes may not address this fully.
The underlying environment still matters.
The focus shifts to:
Improving gut health.
Supporting digestion.
Building balanced meals.
Creating consistency in daily habits.
When the environment improves, the system begins to regulate more effectively.
This is not about one factor.
It is about the full picture.
If this made something click for you, start there.

Morning Hydration Ritual (Before Your First Meal)
Your body has not had water for 7–8 hours. Before anything else, hydrate.
What to do:
Warm water. Not cold. Not boiling. Warm.
Add a pinch of unrefined salt (sea salt or Himalayan salt). This provides sodium, potassium, and trace minerals that help your cells absorb the water instead of just flushing it through.
Wait 20–30 minutes before eating.
What this does:
Rehydrates your cells after overnight repair.
Supports kidney function.
Primes your digestive system for the first meal.
Gently activates your metabolism without spiking insulin.
What NOT to do:
Do not drink cold water first thing. Cold water constricts blood vessels in your gut and slows digestion.
Do not add sugar, honey, or fruit juice. This is hydration, not a meal.
WARNING:
If you have kidney disease or are on a sodium-restricted diet, skip the salt and use plain warm water.
Consult your doctor before adding sodium if you have existing kidney conditions.

HOW TO READ A FOOD LABEL IN 30 SECONDS
Rule 1:
Ignore the front.
It is advertising.
Turn the product around.
Rule 2:
Read the first 3 ingredients.
They make up the majority.
If sugar, wheat flour, or vegetable oil is in the first three, put it back.
Rule 3:
Count the ingredients.
More than 7 and half sound like chemicals?
It is a product, not food.
Bonus: Hidden sugar names —
Maltodextrin.
Dextrose.
Corn syrup.
Glucose syrup.
Fructose.
