I’ve thought this would be the ultimate outcome if nothing is done. We’ve already seen shades of it in the past with many D1 baseball programs that were cut and converted to a club sport.

@AdamArchuleta I run into this issue in the summer with kids wanting train with me for Nike or NB nationals but have mandatory football workouts. I’ve told parents it’s unrealistic to do both unless there is real communication between the two sides. Overtraining is a huge issue.

@fitsoccerqueen Unless they had a parent that was a college athlete, most are woefully unprepared for the level of commitment, passion and toughness required to be successful at the college level.
