Here are my 4 things for all educators to live by in 2019:
1. Your mental well-being is more important than ANYTHING
2. Talk, share, connect & collaborate
3. Your family is more important than your job
4. You make a difference in the lives of everyone you work with every day
Sometimes teaching can be a grind. It’s not all cute bulletin boards, inspirational lessons, and lightbulb moments. But teachers keep going. They persevere in their commitment to engage in meaningful work — to make a difference for students.
And I love them for it.
🎤 I will remember today forever. Words cannot express my gratitude at everyone's kind words & support! I am, and always will be, proud to be an Australian.
