Not just Hertz but I’d love to be all knowing for these situations and have a way to know how many of these companies that do the “Hey XXX please DM us so we can assist!” response actually provide a remedy to the issue.
Or do the majority just get corporate jargon with no help
@msturgis78 Hello, Matt. If possible, could you please send us a DM with your reservation information and the full details of your current situation so our team can look into this for you? Thanks! -Jessica
Since the 2020-21 season, the earliest year we have this data, there have been two instances of a non-dunk tip-in, where the player had a jump distance of 7+ feet and a wrist height on the shot of 10+ feet.
Thanasis Antetokounmpo in 2021 and OG Anunoby last night.
No flagrant upgrade on the uncalled foul of Spurs' Victor Wembanyama to Knicks' Jalen Brunson on Monday night, a league spokesperson tells ESPN. Wembanyama will stay at two flagrant points in postseason.
The delay in a ruling is because objectively it is clear that this is a Flagrant 2, but if the League rules it a Flagrant 2, then Wemby is suspended for the next game, which they clearly don’t want to do.
Blue-haired waitress just destroyed the “end tipping” crowd with cold hard reality
“If we get rid of tipping, good luck finding anyone to work Fridays, Saturdays, and especially Sundays.”
She lays it out: Why would she bust her ass on 10x busier weekend shifts for the same low hourly wage as a slow Monday? The after-church crowd that “loves Jesus but hates everybody else”? The price hikes that are coming anyway? The restaurants that will cut staff on busy nights?
She says the quiet part out loud: That money is coming out of your pocket either way.
This is one of the most common-sense takes I’ve heard on this in a long time. Even with the blue hair and piercings… she’s 100% right. Tipping isn’t the problem — it’s the incentive system that actually gets people to show up and hustle.
What do you think? End tipping?
