DA Reshuffles GNU Representatives:
Democratic Alliance leader Geordin Hill-Lewis has announced several changes to the party’s representation in the Government of National Unity (GNU), aimed at strengthening performance and advancing the DA’s mandate.
Key changes include:
-Willie Aucamp replaces John Steenhuisen as Minister of Agriculture. Aucamp has been tasked with addressing the Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) crisis, resolving related legal challenges, restoring confidence in the sector, and expanding export markets for agricultural products.
-David Maynier becomes Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment.
Steenhuisen moves to the position of Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition, where he will focus on market access, industrial growth, competitiveness, and job creation.
-Alexandra Abrahams shifts from Trade, Industry and Competition to Deputy Minister of Electricity and Energy.
-Yusuf Cassim is appointed Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training.
-Jack Bloom becomes Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation.
Hill-Lewis said the appointments reflect the DA’s commitment to accountability, high performance, integrity, and improved public service delivery, adding that the changes are intended to strengthen the party’s contribution to government and advance its vision of an open and opportunity-driven society for all South Africans.
@Am_Blujay What makes this arrest so funny is the fact that this guy used to catch ppl cheating, now the wheels have turned 🤣 🤣🤣🤣. He wud often boast abt his rotos.
@DasenThathiah The government needs to look deep into this things of giving police officers firearms to go home with. Both SANDF and SAPS carry firearms but you hardly hear that a SANDF member killed his or her partner.
@MickyJnr__ The referee for this match is very poor. We thought we have seen some poor officiating but this one is far worse. Players are kicking each other and according to him that is fair play.
@LadyM1306 There is a book by Christian Bezeidenhout titled"child and youth misbehavior". It gives a good reflection of challenges that the youth experienced during apartheid and most of those challenges are still existing to this day. I must say I fully agree with you
