Our series, "House of Dysfunction," begins at Go Long. First up? The Curious Case of Caleb Williams... and a 2024 season from football hell.

@_SVPod@notthefakeSVP As a Bears fan, I pray that this is how their franchise approaches things moving forward. I’ll admit it. We want to be relevant, and I think we are now. Give us your best shot and with spike it with some venom.
@CSimmsQB Do you have any reservations with their picks given their needs in the trenches? I am excited for Loveland, but don’t love that my team has been a carousel lining up in front of Caleb.
@RyanMcGuffey@WWBAD32 The first question that comes to mind: “How dare you”. The second, is there a plan to ultimately pay for a legitimate star (9 digit offers) when the team is competitive enough to justify it?
@whitesox I know he had zero impact on the outcome of games, but I think Hawk was generally awful and a representation of what’s wrong with this organization. He didn’t really give you great insight, went silent for long periods, was an atrocious GM and somehow kept a job for decades.
@That1HoganGuy @chisportsross He puts NOTHING into the White Sox on field product. He isn’t passionate about the Sox nor the Bulls. He’s passionate about a profitable return and if they accidentally achieve, that’s cool.
@WaddleandSilvy@markschlereth TY for going at Eberflus with a tone and pressing for accountability. I want to reach thru the phone for Eberflus every time you interview him. There was an arrogance with his “3rd quarter decision, not a fourth quarter decision”. He doesn’t get it. At all.
@stevestone It’s truly heartbreaking to watch it unfold. I would keep Cease and Robert, and hold onto TA Because of his deal. Let Grandal and the bullpen go for ANYTHING. Genuine question: why should we go through this exercise if the same FO will be making these moves?
@Matteberflus1@stevestone I am not trying to troll, I truly want to know why there is so much faith in Moncada. He put up numbers in 2019, and had a hot start this year. Outside of that, his talent has not yielded results. We need better offensively out of the 3B position.
