These were U.S.-operated listening posts in Iran, established with the Shah’s cooperation to monitor Soviet missile tests and communications during the Cold War:

1. Behshahr Monitoring Station, Located in northern Iran near the Caspian Sea, it was associated with U.S. intelligence operations during the Shah’s reign to monitor Soviet military and communications activity.

2. Kabkan Monitoring Station , Located in northeastern Iran, near the Soviet border region, it was part of the network of monitoring facilities used to gather intelligence on Soviet activities during the Cold War.

Je gaat een zeer leerzame, indrukwekkende, enerverende en emotionele, maar tegelijkertijd ook ontzettend gezellige week tegemoet.
