@IndieWire Critic & Deputy Editor, TV • @OfficialTCA • @AMillionScreens • He/Him • Ann Dowd calls me “honey” (and don't tell me if she calls everyone that).
#Veep's last day of shooting was filled with tears, laughs, an impromptu nap, gifts, more tears, speeches, toasts, & sometimes other people cried, too. (OK, Tony Hale was a mess throughout.) Words cannot describe what it felt like to be there, but I tried: https://t.co/9YAwaGbrAA
If your Outie stayed up late or your Innie got up early, this is for you — both of you. My review of the 'Severance' Season 2 finale, just below. Good show!
Erin is a fantastic editor who always made me feel cared for and encouraged, while still improving every story she touched. I have no idea how she does it, but everyone should be trying like hell to find out — hire her.
The rumors (and news stories🙃) are true! I was laid off from IndieWire. I'm bummed & now looking for work. Get in touch about writing/editing/content strategy: Strecker.erin @ gmail!
“The Day of the Jackal” is so egregiously bloated I can’t believe it’s not on Netflix. There are a few good ideas rummaging around in its 10-episode first season, but the inflated runtime drags everything down with it. My review: https://t.co/lvIixYEZMb
After its longest-ever break between new episodes, “Yellowstone” finally returned… as a very different show. Some would say a worse show. OK, it’s me, I’m saying it. https://t.co/PqLq1hoLCA
Apple just renewed "Slow Horses" for a *sixth* season, so now's as good a time as any to revisit why The Little Spy Show That Could is suddenly doing so well: https://t.co/SqAMWD2VJs
On this anniversary of the #SuddenDeparture, we are honored to announce those who remained will return to our Festival for a special reunion panel during #ATXTVs14.
Head to https://t.co/fVcz8WFUA9 to find out who from #TheLeftovers will be with us and how you can attend too.
Babygirl is the closest thing we’ll ever get to an Eyes Wide Shut sequel and I loved it. Kidman and Dickinson are both outstanding — so rare and fun to see a movie where the characters genuinely seem unsure what they’re capable of.
