Plattsburgh appeared to go up 3-2 in the game with 8:02 left, but the goal was waved off for goalie interference, with Annie Katonka coming into contact with the Elmira goalie during a shoving match with an Eagle defender in the crease.
A messy few chances in front of the Elmira net and Nicole Unsworth picked the puck out of the crowd and put it home to tie things up, 1-1, at the 15:26 mark of the second period.
After Chloe Beaubien started yesterday's matchup and Ashley Davis played the last period and a half in relief, goaltender Lilla Nease is slated to get the start against Elmira on the Cardinals' lineup sheet today
