六月初，由美國、加拿大、英國、澳洲與紐西蘭組成的「五眼聯盟」聯合發布警示，指中國間諜積極利用招聘社交網站領英（LinkedIn）和其他求職平台，假裝是智庫、諮詢和獵頭公司的員工，招募他們認為持有非公開或敏感資訊的求職人士，隨後向他們施壓，以此獲取情報。

「五眼聯盟」在公告中指，求職者成功應聘後，公司會要求對方為不具名客戶提供諮詢服務，而這些客戶實際上與中國政府有聯繫，他們利用這些求職者提供的非公開信息，獲取軍事、政治與經濟情報，為中國應對「五眼聯盟」提供策略。

這並非第一次「五眼聯盟」國家就中國利用領英進行間諜活動而提出警告。

這一兩天，台灣不少媒體都以顯著篇幅報導一則所謂「驚人的國際新聞」：在G7晚宴上，美國總統川普再次提起珍珠港事件，與日本首相高市早苗爆發激烈爭吵，甚至驚動各國領袖出面調停。

如果報導內容屬實，毫無疑問會是震撼全球的大新聞。因為「美日同盟」是當今國際政治最重要的雙邊關係之一。兩國領導人在G7峰會期間公開衝突，可能影響全球安全局勢。這種等級的事件，不可能只是茶餘飯後的小插曲，必然是足以登上全世界各大報頭版的重要國際新聞。

問題就出在這裡。包括美國主流媒體、日本主流媒體，以及全球各大國際通訊社，都找不到相關消息。

台灣媒體引用的來源，最後一路追查下去，竟然是日本《日刊現代》（日刊ゲンダイ）轉述法國公共廣播電台旗下France Inter某名經濟記者的說法。而France Inter本身是廣播媒體，相關內容甚至連完整的文字紀錄都難以找到。

換句話說，整篇報導是建立在「單一消息來源」之上。

有常識的人都一定知道，新聞界有一個最基本的原則：重大消息必須交叉驗證。尤其是這種公開場合的外交衝突。

G7峰會現場聚集了來自全球的數千名記者，日本主要報社和電視台幾乎都派出了隨團採訪記者。如果真的發生了各國領袖出面勸架的場面，不可能只有一個法國的經濟記者知道。

令人遺憾的是，這麼明顯的一則假新聞，台灣不少媒體竟然直接引用，幾乎沒有進行任何查證。

事實上，《日刊現代》在日本並非主流媒體。它長年以強烈的「反自民黨」立場聞名，經常使用煽動性標題吸引特定讀者群。在日本媒體圈內，它更接近政治八卦週刊，而非嚴肅的新聞機構。

前首相安倍晉三就曾公開拿《日刊現代》當例子，反駁政府給媒體壓力、造成「寒蟬效應」的批評。當時，安倍在國會，向提出問題的在野黨議員表示：「您回家路上不妨買一份《日刊現代》看看，這像是受到壓迫、不敢說話的媒體嗎？」言下之意，就是該報對政府的攻擊抹黑，從未手軟。

這件事最令人擔憂的，是在台灣竟然有這麼多媒體如此輕易地相信了它。

當新聞工作者放棄查證，只剩下複製、貼上與轉載；當媒體追逐流量勝過追求真相；當一則未經驗證的消息可以在一天之內傳遍全台灣，那麼，受損的就不只是媒體的公信力。

在這樣一個假消息氾濫的時代，很有必要提高媒體識讀力。當我們看到一則帶有惡意、強調衝突、引發情緒波動的內容時，不要急著罵人或轉發，一定要冷靜判斷，「讓子彈多飛一會兒」。
