This racism of not selling land to Jews has been going on since forever. If this was about real estate, then let the original owner produce a deed and let there be litigation.

More precisely, the alliance between Palestinian and Iranian Jew-haters had started a few years before Arafat-Khomeirni’s 1979 meeting in Tehran when Arafat’s second in line, Khalil Al-Wazir (Abu Jihad, the commander of the First Intifada), connected with Iranian opposition in Beirut Mustafa Shamran. PLO trained Iranians in their military camps in Lebanon. Shamran became Khomeini’s defense minister and his PLO trained terrorists became the IRGC.

Lebanon’s Druze chief Jumblatt told Al-Jazeera that “a Lebanese group in Washington is more Israeli than the Israelis.” Hezbollah spun his comments and made it an attack on the Lebanese government delegation engaged in direct talks with its Israeli counterpart.

Jumblatt then clarified that he didn’t mean the delegation because he supports direct talks, and that he only meant “political activists who work at American think tanks in Washington and put Israel’s interests ahead of the interests of Lebanon and its people.”

Not a long time ago, Jumblatt said he wanted to go back to being an Ottoman (Turkish) citizen. He then accuses think tankers like me, who insist on Lebanese-Israeli peace, of being against Lebanon.

Three Jewish teenagers — Naftali Fraenkel (16), Gilad Shaer (16), and Eyal Yifrah (19) — were kidnapped by Hamas terrorists while hitchhiking home from school.

They were executed at point-blank range inside the car almost immediately.

These were ordinary boys with bright futures. Naftali was a talented student who loved music. Gilad was known for his warmth and quick smile. Eyal was the responsible one, always looking out for others. They were simply trying to get home for Shabbat.

For 18 agonizing days, the entire nation of Israel held its breath. Prayers rose from every corner of the country. Jewish mothers stood together pleading for their sons’ return while the world watched.

On June 30, their bodies were found. They had been murdered almost immediately after being taken.

Hamas terrorists carried out the attack. Many in their ranks celebrated.

This is what they call “resistance”: the deliberate kidnapping and slaughter of Jewish teenagers for the sole crime of being Jewish and living in Israel.

The abduction shocked Israel to its core, triggered Operation Brother’s Keeper, and became one of the catalysts for the 2014 Gaza war. It served as a brutal reminder that Hamas’s hatred has no bottom — they will murder children without hesitation.

May the memories of Naftali, Gilad, and Eyal be a blessing.
