Handwritten, mailed thank you notes instead of an email after a prospect meeting. In-person meetings instead of defaulting to Zoom.
COVID forced a lot of tech-driven behavior but we’re past the pandemic hangover. Now there’s a clear shift back toward what feels more personal.
You see it outside of business too. Digital cameras replacing iPhone photos. Using an analog alarm clock to wake up in the AM
- Address the gaps: Create standard prompts that you would like to show up for, and build online content around that.
- Stay active and current: Consistent #marketing and PR help ensure your most relevant work, expertise & perspectives remain visible and up to date.

As more people rely on AI for search and answers, fewer users are clicking through to websites, meaning perceptions about your firm are formed before a prospect ever reaches your site.
A few things to implement to guide AI outputs - and your reputation:
- Test your own firm and key competitors with the same prompts.
- Identify gaps: Are your core strengths, industries or differentiators showing up?
Trying to implement #AI in your firm? Start with your cheerleaders, not the whole firm. One law firm told us that they created an AI committee by selecting people who were already excited about AI . No forcing everyone, just the folks who wanted to learn and champion initiatives.
