A decentralized brand, a few people understand how powerful this could be.

Later this year, Snek IP will be rolled up to the Snek foundation. The same foundation will oversee governance and control over the Snek Pit community treasury ($snekpit).

Decentralizing the Snek brand doesn't mean its an open bar and everyone can do as they wish. It's giving the strategic voting power to the $SNEK holders. It's deciding together who gets to use the Snek IP and where the money is invested in order to grow the treasury (and the brand) even more.

Everyone will be able to propose ideas, discuss, vote and execute on topics like marketing, expenses, publicity, investements, IP licensing, partnerships, buybacks, burns, etc.

This will allow everyone to particpate in the development of the Snek ecosystem while capitalizing and leveraging each other's strengths.

Why does a decentralized brand make sense?
Because nearly no business can start from scratch and have access to 40,000+ community members ready to support. Not only that, if you have a great idea and need money to fund it, who is more likely to accept and help you than the actual people who stand to benefit from it?

The Snek Pit will essentially become its own VC.

This will not happen in one day. This must be meticulously planned and all the structure, guidance and tools must be in place. And above all, this concept needs money to play with.

The Snek core contributors are building today multiple sources of revenue for the future of the Snek Pit. This will assure constant inflow of money, enough to start. Just from @SnekkiesNFT we are forecasting $10k-20k every month. @snekx_io, @snekbot_io and all other @snek Catalyst proposals are focusing on growing the ecosystem and increasing the Snek Pit treasury. This is just the start.

It's the true solution to long-term sustainability and prosperity. Snek brand will be a game changer.
