@Dazzler07317507 @avfc_david Emery seems to disagree with this assessment. And what was so "brilliant" today? We didn't create much against Arsenal who were not at their best. I would also disagree that there were small margins. Individual differences in class was for everyone to see..

@avfc_david I wouldn't say we have played at the same level as Arsenal (who were not at his best anyway). There was not much fluency (except for our second goal). Wasteful with our passes.. again.. two positives for me: Ollie started scoring again and Phil seems to be waking up.

@TheHolte1874 As I said, lets hope that this will be the case. I didn't have much hope for the last two games... just thought that could have done better today and hurt Arsenal who were not at their best..

@AvfcU @IanMSanders I am not saying that he is a bad keeper: he is certainly better than the rest we have on our payroll. He just needs to regain his best form.

@TheHolte1874 The question is (and has been in the past): why would real quality players want to come to us (Kamara has been an exception)? They would rather prefer Newcastle, and the so-called big six. The only hope is that Emery will be able to charm them...

@danbardell Please, define "Really good"! Arsenal were below par and tired and, yet, we couldn't capitalise on this. We didn't create much. Yes, we lost in the added time but it was still a loss.

@FHG10VTID @greggevans40 what was so great? we invited their pressure the whole game and didn't create much ourselves.. The only positive thing is that Ollie has found his touch in from of the goal and one great combination leading to Phil's goal.

Yes, Bailey's goal would have been a bonus but overall Arsenal had more chances to score... worrying signs: 11 goals in our net in the last three games. And Martinez's saga of possibly leaving the club didn't help. He was below par today

@Alex_Berwick It was definitely better than the last game... but call it "amazing".. Arsenal were well below their standards today (probably tired from their game on Wednesday).. and in truth, we didn't really create much. Yes, it could have been different if Bailey scored. But that's about it

we literally threw away the game...again... Martinez's ball distribution was awful for most of the game.. Arsenal were not at their best; at least we could have drawn. Yes, it was better than the last game against City, but still MILES off those two. Extremely disappointing

@DaveCleal1 @RazaJourno Young never declared that Villa is HIS team... And he was always an outsider... JG made a strong statement about his love for Villa.. He didn't need to do this; they would have won the game anyway.
