Free agency is here and, right now, my TL is all LeBron, all day. Where's he going, what are the Warriors doing, etc. That's fine. He's LJ. I get it! But I'll tell you what I'm actually watching, and it isn't LJ and marquee guys. It's the OGs.
Don't get me wrong, I love this young NBA. These kids are so skilled it's almost unfair, and athletic in a way that's crazy. Different game now. A better one in a lot of ways, and I mean that.
Here's my thing, though. When I came into the league I didn't know anything, not really, and it was the vets who raised me. Guys like Ervin Johnson and Lindsey Hunter and Ray Allen taught me how to carry myself, how to be a pro on the nights nobody's watching. Taught me about money. Shoot, taught me about golf, about how to be a man. I needed that. Most of these young guys need it too, whether they know it yet or not.
So yeah. Harrison Barnes going back to San Antonio, that one was obvious. Russell Westbrook getting tied to DC? I love it for AJ Dybantsa and them. And if you've got a young roster you're trying to grow, you have to call a Khris Middleton or a Mike Conley. Get somebody in that locker room who's seen it, lived it, and can pass on that knowledge.
They can still give you minutes, sure. But that's not really why you sign them. You bring them in for the kid who's got all the talent in the world and no idea what to do with it yet. The vet pulls him aside when the coaches can't. Shows him the little things nobody teaches you in college. Shows him how to play the game, but also live the life.
Each one teach one. That's how it used to worked in the NBA. Let's make sure the young guys get that same guidance.
Wow. I thought I’d seen it all.
It looks like they’ve hired low end acting talent to pose as medical professionals to legitimise his continued eye issues 🤦🏼♂️
How far will this man go just to avoid admitting that he wanted out of that fight with Ciryl Gane?
EXPOSED 🚨 A NGO headquartered in Minnesota is getting paid $2,375 for every Somalia immigrant they bring into the United States
“Why are Somalians in America? I looked into it — The main group bringing in Somalians is Lutheran Social Services — it turns out they get $2,375 for every Somalian they bring over”
“We have to ask the question, why are they coming over here in the first place? And another surprise, turns out our government was funding a dictatorship in Somalia — This is where the movie Black Hawk Down comes from.
But overall Somalis have no right to be in America, especially North Dakota and Minnesota. They don't integrate into our societies. They carry over their clan mentalities. If you personally have never interacted with Somalian or just don't believe me, I would recommend checking out Nick Shirley's video he did the other day. What do you guys think about all this”
- The money is a one-time Reception and Placement grant of $2,425 per refugee (updated from $2,375 in recent years), paid by the State Department to cover immediate arrival costs (e.g., airfare reimbursement, first-month rent, furniture, airport pickup)
(This money is not supposed to be profit for the NGO but you already know with the NGO fraud in Minnesota that most of this money is definitely getting pocketed)
- In Minnesota, federal funds totaled ~$4M for 10,000 refugees in 2018
- Lutheran Social Services is ONE OF 10 national Voluntary Agencies contracted by the U.S. State Department to handle logistics for refugees
@BullzOverBearz@TheDunkCentral 90% is so generous I’m giving a mean 95.5 with every opportunity to show your work and well round up and call it a day in the NBGAY
