This week in gym class, Mrs. Graybill has been using a program called @Sworkit. This program exposes the students to a wide variety of customized yoga, cardio and strength exercises as well as showing them the muscle groups they are working.

With a brutal Flu season among us, we are asking parents to take some time over this 4 day weekend to help decrease the spread of viruses. Washing your child’s backpack, lunchbox, and coat would be very much appreciated. Thanks for your help in trying to keep our students well.

Thank you so much to @ReadAloudWV for sponsoring a family involvement literacy event at @BerkHeightsES. So heart warming to see our families working together to make blankets and then choosing books to “Snuggle Up & Read”!

Tonight we came together to celebrate reading with all our families that participated in the D.E.A.R In December school/home connection activity. Thank you to @ReadAloudWV for providing incredible books for the children! A GREAT time was definitely had by all!

Today we continued a great Holiday tradition here at Berkeley Heights. Mr. Fletcher, a retired teacher, came to read "The Night Before Christmas". He even helped with our D.E.A.R. in December activity. #lovemywvschool #promoteliteracy #BerkeleyHeightsfamily @BerkCoSchoolsWV

We are so proud of our 3rd grade students on their amazing holiday concert tonight! Well done, Ms. Wright on your first Berkeley Heights Concert! 🎼❤️🎄🎼❤️

[Ronald E. Stephens IV @SuperRStephens]

Reading is very D.E.A.R., to me so I joined Berkeley Heights Elementary in their Drop Everything And Read activity.

Families break out deer antlers each evening and read together to complete a reading log.

Great work between Berkeley Heights and parents to connect on literacy!

Look who stopped by @BerkHeightsES to D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read) today! Thank you to @PKMsupt for being a good sport! Happy Holidays and Happy Reading!

City National Bank, two local churches, and 12 individuals helped our school provide over 600 lbs of turkey, 800 lbs of canned goods, pies, cookies, snacks and cereal, 50 gallons of milk, and 650 eggs for Thanksgiving meals for families. #community #theheights #ittakesavillage

Thank you to our faculty and staff, community members and business partners at City National Bank for making it possible to provide Thanksgiving food baskets to many of our families!
