@michk_002 They could at least have a "sold out" notice rather than making it seem like maybe you can try & select seats by clicking on them. I kept refreshing/clicking around and a few random single seats popped up but when I added to the basket they were then unavailable. π€10am tomoz!
@GFAlchemist1 Thanks for this - I'm going to Canterbury for a weekend at the beginning of December so definitely noting your top recommendations! Particularly excited for the 100% GF bistro Oscar and Bentley's π
@RosiePosieBTN Sad times! I can't eat Chinese out any more but I always recommend Good Friends to people (I think maybe including you Rosie, many moons ago!). Do you know what happened??
@XantheClay@LaurenMaeve @TelegraphFood I'd always thought the apple suace was an egg replacement rather than a butter one. Agree re Ogran - I use 4 tbsp water per 1 tsp powder, box says 2 IIRC. I only use it in pastry, not in sponge cake. Good egg replacement is soya milk with a splash cider vinegar, I find
@btnhovefood Can't believe how melted the chocolate cake is! The tea party looks otherwise lovely though, and it was a pleasure to make those cakes for you. I love the Preston Park Community Garden (so have put in a wee contribution, albeit a little late). πͺ»π
Apologies for the major lack of Twitter posting, it all feels a bit much here sometimes. Still baking tons, just not sharing it here... Today you can find me and my wares at the #vegan market at @BrightonOpenMkt. Here til 5pm. All #glutenfree. #Brighton#SmallBiz#Handmade
@jules0455 I don't make all that many tiered cakes but these would be so useful for when I do, I hate punching holes through the boards and trying to make sure the hole is central! I also did not know about these so thank you for sharing. Where are they from?
@SemolinaBistro You just see me a lot in the neighbourhood, but we've only managed to come for dinner about 4 times! Definitely my favourite restaurant despite that; your closure is a big loss for Bton in my view. Totally understand your reasons though & is right for you I think. All the best π
First Saturday of the month so the #vegan market is on at @BrightonOpenMkt. Tons of goodies eg cheeses, bodycare, soaps, hot sauces, dog treats, art and loads more, including my #glutenfree cakes and β¨hot cross bun browniesβ¨. Here til 5pm, come if you're in #Brighton today!
Celebrated my other half's birthday with @beckyexcell#glutenfree mini egg cheesecake (for breakfast, naturally!), and delicious dinner at #Palmito. A very happy birthday was had! ππ₯³
Very much not an official entry into #TwitterBakeAlong (just what I had on order) but wanted to share these chocolate #brownies & #blondies as it's this week's theme! Here we have #vegan salt caramel brownies, beetroot brownies, & choc chip blondies. All #glutenfree as always π«
@jules0455 Yep, have been buying eggs from the same small egg shop for 15+ years - they had to close for a couple of days last week as they didn't have any eggs, & a tray of 30 has gone up to Β£8. I'm told if small farms get bird flu, they prob won't reopen at all after statutory closure. π
The #vegan market @BrightonOpenMkt is moving to the first Saturday of the month, which means it's*tomorrow* (4th March)! I'll be there with my #glutenfree cakes & bakes, & there'll be many other stalls. Come if you're in town! 10am-5pm. Own boxes welcome for #cakeaway#Brighton
I haven't posted many of my cakes here lately, but I have still been making plenty! Here's one of Saturday's orders, a Star Wars themed chocolate cake for a 7th birthday. #Glutenfree#Brighton#handmade#SmallBiz
