Not sitting out another russian invasion of Europe
This is why.
When some russian in a hotel asks me why I do not want to talk to him, when some European asks me why I am not "tolerant" – the answer is in this photo.
There are thousands of such kids in Ukraine whose parents were killed simply because russians followed their crazy tsar instead of stopping him.
The russian army is 2.4 million. Most of them have been to Ukraine. The police is about 1 million. There are also smaller forces – FSB (200 thousand), National Guard (340 thousand) and others. So we are already at more than four million people involved.
And then count those who work as subcontractors for the army. Those who work in weapons factories. Count the government and everyone working for it. You get every 10th adult russian working for the war. 30% of russia's budget is spent on it.
This is not "Putin's war," this is "every russian's war."
So when I meet a russian man in some hotel, I know there is a 10% chance he is directly involved. And the remaining 90% support it –
by action or inaction.
So how should I treat them?
If he wants a conversation, he should start by asking for forgiveness and condemning their army and their regime. In all other cases, I won't even talk to such a person.
Our warriors continue to apply sanctions against Russia’s shadow oil fleet – two such vessels were struck in the waters at the entrance to the port of Novorossiysk. These tankers had been actively used to transport oil – not anymore. I am grateful to Chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov for leading the operation, to the counterintelligence officers of the Security Service of Ukraine, and to our Navy for consistently delivering effective results. Ukraine’s long-range capabilities will continue to be developed comprehensively – at sea, in the air, and on land. Glory to Ukraine!
Wow. The limited visibility of pro-Ukraine accounts is getting worse by the day! Can you guys see me?! If you support Ukraine, democracy, and critical thinking then we should be friends!

Last night, Russia continued striking our communities and our energy sector. Dnipro, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions came under attack. The main target was energy facilities and critical infrastructure that ensures normal life for our people: heat and electricity. In the morning, our air defense forces were operating in Kyiv, and an air raid alert sounded in the capital and the region, as well as in the Chernihiv region.
A total of 113 attack drones were launched, about 70 of them were “shaheds,” and there were also missiles – three ballistic ones. I thank our defenders who repel Russia’s aerial attacks day and night – the Air Force, the anti-aircraft missile troops, the electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and the mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. I thank everyone working to deal with the aftermath of these attacks. I am grateful for such support for our country.
Right now, our first priority is to strengthen our air defense – primarily with missiles for the existing systems. Partner contributions to the PURL initiative are needed, as well as support from European stockpiles and faster implementation of agreements with the United States. It is very important to reinforce our warriors now. If we can counter these Russian attacks with 100% effectiveness, Putin’s terror will become meaningless. At the moment, this is their advantage, and this is exactly Russia’s bet. We must deprive them of this. It can work and will force Russia to stop the killings and move toward peace. I am grateful to everyone in the world who is ready to help us.
I know many are tired, but please — we need you.
Do not look away.
Every single day Ukraine fights to survive.
Every single day russia tries to destroy us.
Dnipro 💔 people are hiding in shelters from russian missiles and drones.
“When we are together, we are strong.”
As Roman was telling his story at @Europarl_EN, people couldn’t hold back tears💔
What this boy endured is beyond heartbreaking.
He witnessed russia killing his mother and underwent 36 surgeries.
But he persevered and is never giving up.
This man would rather die than leave his people.
“I need ammunition, Not a Ride”
So much pain...
And he is strong🫡
In dark times, Zelensky has become a symbol of resistance and hope.

You want to calculate what Ukraine “costs”?
Fine. Let’s calculate what the guarantors of the Budapest Memorandum owe Ukraine.
People who complain about “how much the West spends on Ukraine” forget one thing:
Ukraine has already paid the highest possible price for promises that were never fulfilled.
⸻
1. What Ukraine gave up under the Budapest Memorandum
Ukraine surrendered the world’s third-largest nuclear arsenal:
•1,900 strategic nuclear warheads
•176 ICBMs
•44 Tu-160 / Tu-95MS strategic bombers
•Full launch, storage, and command infrastructure
Current value: $2–4 trillion.
Yes — trillion.
Ukraine traded this arsenal for security guarantees from the US, UK, and Russia.
Guarantees that cracked in 2014 and completely collapsed in 2022.
⸻
2. How much the US has spent on Ukraine
In 11 years of war, the total US support amounts to:
$80–90 billion.
For comparison:
Ukraine gave up a nuclear deterrent worth 30–50 times more.
⸻
3. How US support has been restricted
For years, Ukraine was denied critical tools needed for survival:
•ATACMS long-range missiles
•F-16 fighter jets
•Adequate Patriot air-defense systems
•Permission to strike inside Russia (only partially allowed in 2024–25)
These delays cost thousands of Ukrainian lives and entire cities that could have been saved.
⸻
4. The real cost of war for Ukraine
In 11 years:
•450,000+ killed and wounded
•Over 50% of energy infrastructure destroyed
•Trillion-dollar economic losses
•Factories, investments, and human capital wiped out
•A development trajectory comparable to Poland’s — shattered not only by Russian missiles but also by Western hesitation
⸻
5. So who really owes whom?
Ukraine never asked for charity.
Ukraine asked its guarantors to honor their own signatures.
While the US and UK insisted the Budapest Memorandum “was not binding,” Russia prepared for a full-scale invasion.
Today, Ukraine is defending:
•NATO’s entire eastern flank
•Europe’s energy routes
•The Black Sea
•The global security system the United States built after WWII
Ukraine is presenting the real bill: for cities erased, for millions of lives broken, for decades of development stolen — and for the security guarantees that existed only on paper.
And that bill is not for Ukraine to pay. It is for those who promised protection — and failed to deliver it.

The Russian army has once again been forced to push back the deadlines it had drawn up for itself for capturing Pokrovsk and Dobropillia. And every Russian loss contributes to our ability to defend our state, our people, our independence.
It is symbolic that today we have the most positive European Commission report in three years. This gives Ukrainians even more motivation as Europe recognizes our joint efforts. Ukraine is doing everything to gain EU membership. Even in wartime, even amid the toughest battles, our state keeps moving forward in the membership talks, which is absolutely unprecedented across Europe. Every other EU member state has followed a much easier path.
It is crucial that our results are met with proper support in Europe – that the EU fulfills its commitments. Ukraine is ready to open the clusters, and we need a European decision on this. I thank everyone who is helping. I am proud of our people, proud of every single one of our warriors.
Many men would have threw their hands up and passed the torch.
This man decided to stay and fight.
He didnt stay so Ukraine would survive.
He stayed so Ukraine would win.
When offered safety away from Ukraine, Zelensky said.
“The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride”
The EU stands with Ukraine as its people once again suffer at the hands of Russian barbarity.
The shocking scenes emerging from Shostka railway station highlight Russia’s reckless and continued willingness to target civilians.
The EU and its global partners must continue ramping up the pressure on Russia until it finally accepts a just and lasting peace.
They are trying to silence us,!! visibility is almost zero!!
let's break it🙌
