Saturday 16 September is the day for our annual Bermondsey Street Festival, and (so far, anyway) the weather forecast is good - warm and dry. The festival runs 11-7pm bringing loads of craft stalls, live music and food&drink in Tanner Street Park

@se1 Our First Aide and ambulance services are funded by ourselves. The Metropolitan Police have no obligation to attend and do so as a courtesy. This year we were expecting 10 Special Constables with no history of police support they can hardly be considered a requirement.

While we would wish to continue with Bermondsey Street Festival in this challenging time as it is an important part of our Community, the Council take a different view and we are unable to proceed.
