One of the hardest lessons in building a business:
You can be extremely busy and still not be making meaningful progress.
Sometimes the problem isn't a lack of effort.
You're simply putting effort into the wrong things.
Work is not the goal.
Progress is.
People can admire what you build and still never become customers.
Compliments aren't demand.
Attention isn't demand.
Demand shows up when people take action.
Admiration โ Demand.
I built a product I genuinely believed people would want.
But nobody bought it.
I even used it to sell barbecue for over a month.
Lesson: people liking your product doesn't mean they want to buy it.
