@James_Schiano That was awful. Could not believe how poorly he played that ball. Can’t blame him for everything that happened after that, but he is a total liability in the field and they really need to trade him at this point.
@michaelgbaron Not murky at all. Plenty of playing time this year and has not performed. Getting less playing time until he starts performing. If he continues to not perform, he will be replaced and the more internal options to replace him, the better. Finally roster decisions that make sense!
@ChrisKarpman If ASU’s athletic program was rolling and a model that others were trying to emulate, then I could totally understand the lack of external search and internal promotion. But ASU athletics is at an all time low and a total dumpster fire. Make it make sense!!!
@ChrisKarpman Clearly Michael Crow couldn’t afford an experienced AD that would be qualified for this role after fraudulently handing out bags 💰 to Herm and Ray Anderson. Where is AZBOR in all of this??
@NBA_NewYork Embarrassing postgame interview. Your team was outplayed and outcoached. Your own team knew it and acknowledged it after the game. But have fun reviewing all of those “missed calls” while the Knicks focus on beating you again in Game 3.
@JCaporoso Thanks for response! Yeah that makes sense. I guess they are shifting their $ away from DL where there is strong coaching and instead spending on OL and playmakers where the coaching is weak. Hope they haven’t cut too deep from DL!
@JCaporoso I’m still trying to understand the reasoning for moving on from JFM and instead signing Kinlaw earlier in FA. Money seems similar and JFM was an important/versatile part of DL. Any possible explanation you could think of?
@GoldyHappens@CarriesK2 A lot of people also regarded him as a 4 star prospect out of HS. He also performed well as a starting QB in the ACC, enough so that a BIG10 team paid him a lot of $ to start for them. Coaching matters and he’s finally going to get that at ASU.
@GoldyHappens@CarriesK2 Are you even considering who he was coached by at GT or Nebraska? He was bad last year, no doubt, but he had one of the worst OC’s in the country. He played well at GT even though his OC was also really bad (now at Buffalo). You are completely wrong saying he doesn’t have talent
@ChrisKarpman If Sims plays well for ASU this year, it will show every QB in the country that Dilly is THE QB whisperer. A big IF, but could be an impressive feather in the cap.
@Michael_Nania I’m sorry but you are over-complicating this decision. Bowers is a top 10 prospect in this draft (not my uneducated personal opinion but that of scouts and NFL draft analysts) and fills a serious need for the Jets (offensive playmaker). He would be a good pick.
@jeffmetcalfe Agree but how do you explain promoting anyone from within a failing athletic department? What success has he been a part of to make you have any confidence in him being ready for this job?
@NBA_NewYork I have so much respect for this guy. Had a rough game 1, watched Robinson play great behind him and had nothing but positive things to say about his teammate and then he goes out and plays a pivotal role in game 2 win. Knicks need to pay Hartenstein!
