After 18 months of “standing up to Putin” the Labour govt quietly issued a licence allowing imports of Russian oil refined in third countries.

Yesterday Labour MPs voted AGAINST UK oil and gas licences.

We are now importing from Russia instead of drilling in the North Sea.

Insane.

If you have the misfortune to end up with a Green councillor on Friday don’t despair! Make them work! Report every pothole, every cracked paving stone, every piece of dog shit, every late bin collection. And get your fellow residents to do the same.
Attend council meetings. Go to surgeries. Complain about your council tax bill.
Keep them on their feet. Remind them local politics isn’t about palestine - it’s about pavements and potholes.
