@VisioTenshi I just play the games I like and consider myself a fan of, I'm not gonna go around policing other people on that front since I have better things to do, I don't think people should talk about things they haven't experienced either
@GhostofMahvel@_shuakepilled watching a game only misses out on the control aspect, a script doesn't capture intonation/visuals/sound, the only thing comparable in a game is reading the game's script
@musey101 Yeah, I think the people up in arms about it are way too busy splitting hairs over something that doesn't exist, that said you shouldn't talk about anything you didn't actually engage with like gameplay mechanics.
@skeleoncemore what if I like everything besides the gameplay, do I have to single out that I like the music, the visuals, the voice acting, the story, the characters, etc.?
@Marcodmeatball It's probably also a result of gachas being in more direct competition with each other, Kingdom Hearts and Persona don't feel like they occupy the same space, people know how to enjoy either on their own or together, meanwhile look at how WuWa started in comparison to Genshin.
@Marcodmeatball I think some of it's how the praise is worded, a lot of what I see usually includes putting down others or putting one above the rest, saw this quote going around the last week in relation to stuff like the Nintendo Direct and I think it might apply to the gacha tribalism shit.
