Socials are interesting in Pro Wrestling

We try to be authentic, to share our real selves—but sometimes that passion turns into critiques, complaints, and negativity. It’s normal; we vent frustrations in real life too. But lately, I’ve noticed how much negativity surrounds wrestling online, and I’ve realized something: I don’t want to add to it anymore.

I’m not perfect, and I’ll still have moments where I react. That’s part of being human and what makes social media fun. But moving forward, I want to focus more on positivity—on sharing the things I love about wrestling rather than what I don’t.

There’s enough negativity out there already. I want to be a positive voice in this space. Wrestling is amazing, and even when we don’t love everything, I think we can lift each other up instead of tearing things down.

And I want to make this clear: I’m coming from a fan’s perspective, and that’s who I’m speaking to—fans. This constant criticism of media outlets like Busted Open, Wrestling Observer, Meltzer, Fightful, and others is so strange to me. I like disagreeing too sometimes and, yes, I have, because the discourse is fun, but slamming them for doing their job is ridiculous. The perspective they provide gives us something to have fun with daily, even when we don’t agree.
