I want to be convinced that this Man never won any elections..are we ready to have this conversation? I doubt it. The voices that were covered by 'accept and move on' are not just mourning but letting out the incurring pain each election year.

🔔 To provide a platform for deepening the capacity of faith actors on environmental care, stewardship and economic justice, the AACC has convened a capacity strengthening workshop on Advocacy for the Africa Faith Actors Network for Climate Justice (AFAN-CJ) and Economic Justice Champions across the continent, in Nairobi Kenya. The workshop will run until 31st July and is expected to contribute to the faith positions for engagement at upcoming policy platforms such as the Africa Climate Summit in Addis Ababa and COP30 in Brazil. Today, @AaccCeta Director of Programs @LesmoreGEzkiel addressed a gathering of over seven hundred participants comprinisng climate activists, Africa Group of Negotiators Chair, multilateral institutions officials at The Climate Reality project training in Nairobi.

Yesterday, the AACC participated in a consultative meeting to mobilize non-state actors for economic justice towards COP30 in Brazil.

Dr. Tinashe Gumbo represented the Faith Actors by highlighting their work in pushing for Ecological and economic justice, with a particular focus on Africa’s debt. He shared the Faith Actors strategic plans on addressing Africa’s debt and climate financing issues that will not lead the continent further into debt
