@PolitlcsUK @FT If the government reduced VAT all prices would come down! Reducing duty on fuel would reduce costs transporting foods to supermarkets and help motorists too.

Petrol 157.9 a litre at #Tesco an increase of 7p in a week! This is ridiculous. @RachelReevesMP get this sorted! With Vat & fuel duty, it's positive theft! We cannot afford this. Increased transport costs push up prices in the supermarkets. 157.9 a litre = approx £7.10 a gallon!
