@DannyD1224@KobeissiLetter I didn't say that, but that's the reality of the free market. Why didn't Trump yell at gas stations when they raised prices on their current inventory at the start of the war?
@lizzybetsdad@mrpapageorg1o@paschutz No one is going to cry about taxpayer dollars being spent to improve roads and other infrastructure. No one is going to cry when they're going to an NCAA tournament or Super Bowl close by. No one will cry when there's a plethora of new food/shopping/entertainment options.
@lizzybetsdad@paschutz When it's the government paying for the stadium, yes. The Bears pledged to pay for the stadium and were just seeking reasonable property taxes and infrastructure (which is a pretty standard ask for a development of that size).
@DoxxxyStocksy The venue has a hard curfew at 11pm. With the expected winds, the actual show probably would get pushed to at least 8:30. At that point, either they scrap the openers or each act has to cut their set. Not wishing for bad things, but ideal scenario would be cancellation and refund
@RedWavePress Holy fucking shit......you mean to tell me that the most liberal state in the nation voted HEAVILY for democrats over a republican?!?! I'm absolutely shocked.
@MaxMarkhamNFL The PILOT legislation was close to being a done deal, but Kevin Warren was a moron and kept talking to the city of Chicago behind the scenes. Once Mayor Johnson went public with it and told the Chicago caucus not to vote for it, it was DOA.
