@cbouzy There are so many things I want to say, but mainly that I appreciate you and I agree-I don't think anyone had a clear understanding of the depth of the racism and misogyny. The only thing I know to do right now is to reach out and care for people. I've got nothing else, yet.

@inKittenVeritas @MoniquePressley I heard a couple of young white women interviewed during the women's march right after Trump was elected. One had tears in her eyes. I can't remember how it came up that they didn't vote, but I was screaming at the TV and all but through a shoe at it.

There's a feeling here and I can't quite describe it, but it's something like we all know there are people we admired growing up and it was because they truly cared and were truly good and they aren't the people we've seen with real power in the country and in midst of a very dark hour suddenly it's possible that they are going to be in charge and I just can't tell you how good that is for you and me and all of our children.
