So proud of my incredible brother @matthewclifford for being awarded a CBE for services to AI. He’s been impressing me for as long as I can remember so I often take his achievements for granted but so much hard work goes into everything he does and this is so well deserved!

My wonderful Granny died last night aged 99. She was born Annette Abrahamsohn in Berlin and died Annette Clifford in Leicestershire. It feels a good moment to honour her parents’ extraordinary bravery, without which I and about 40 members wouldn’t be here…

In 1939 my German Jewish great-grandparents put their 15 and 12yo daughters on a boat for the UK. They never saw them again. I exist only because the UK opened its doors to refugees. We have no excuses for shutting them now 🇺🇦
