In 2025, Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries told Americans: “No benefits for illegal aliens.”

Now, Democrat-led cities are suing to block the Trump administration’s public-charge rule, fighting to stop immigration officers from considering an immigrant’s dependence on taxpayer-funded benefits when deciding who is eligible for a green card.

American tax dollars need to go to American citizens for the benefits we’ve earned.

My phone just pinged me with an “on this day” memory from this day three years ago on 9/20/23.

We were in Eagle Pass, TX and witnessed a mass illegal crossing of more than 4,000 illegal aliens crossing in one single spot in just two hours, leading to CBP having to shut down the nearby international bridges & ports of entry.

@FoxNews was the only network there.

The only resistance offered was Texas military & DPS assets which had placed razor wire at the edge of the river, but the Biden Border Patrol cut through it and in one infamous case, even used heavy machinery to lift it out of the way so the illegal aliens could proceed into the U.S.

A complete free for all that day - and it would get even worse three months later in December 2023 when the illegal crossings reached the highest ever recorded in U.S. history with more than 11,000 in a single day.

For years, far left sanctuary states and cities have lied to the American people claiming illegal immigrants don't get taxpayer benefits. Now, 22 of them are suing the Trump Administration because of a common sense rule that will not allow immigrants who are dependent on American taxpayer benefits to apply for a green card.

This "public charge" rule has been on the books for over a century and it blocks any immigrant from entry to the United States who was "unable to take care of himself or herself without becoming a public charge." That rule absolutely should be enforced.

The midterm convention was a tremendous celebration of America and recognition we remain the greatest nation in the history of mankind because patriots who love freedom and liberty stand and fight for the USA!

We reject Democrat Socialism, Islamism, open borders, massive government control of our lives, and all the leftist ideologies that are dedicated to destroying Western civilization.

Today we remember the tragic 9/11 attacks and the people who were taken from us by Islamic terrorists. And we will also remember how our nation came together to rally for what is right and good about our incredible country.

This weekend marks the sprint to Election Day where God willing and the American people agreeing, control of Congress will remain in the hands of common sense, rather than surrendering to communism.

Twenty-five years ago this morning, Islamic terrorists murdered nearly 3,000 people on American soil. They struck the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania. They meant to break a nation, and they failed.

What the terrorists could not kill was the character of the people they attacked.

Two of the four planes that morning belonged to American Airlines, headquartered here in North Texas. The pilots and flight attendants who fly out of DFW every day lost 33 of their own. In Grapevine, an American flight attendant named Valerie Thompson decided those crews would not be forgotten, and her husband Dean spent years sculpting the memorial that stands at Texan Trail. The bronze captain at its peak points west, the direction those flights were meant to go. This morning our first responders will gather there and march through Grapevine, honoring each of the 455 firefighters, police officers, medics, and other first responders who never came home.

A quarter century later, the danger is not only that we forget the dead, but that we forget the lesson. Evil is real. It has a name and a doctrine. Freedom is protected by courage, by clear eyes, and by a country willing to defend itself.

In this 250th year of American independence, September 11 is the reminder that the blessings we inherited were paid for in blood on the battlefields of our founding, a civil war to save the soul of our nation, across world wars against evil madmen, throughout the Cold War, the Korean Peninsula, Vietnam, the war on terrorism and by civilians who were just going to work and living their lives on 9/11.

To every family that has now lived 25 years with an empty chair: we remember your husband, your wife, your mother, your father, your child. To every first responder still carrying that day in their lungs and in their sleep: a grateful nation has not looked away.

May God bless the souls we lost, and may He give this generation the steel to keep America free.
