Students became detectives today as they worked in collaborative groups. Groups were given mystery boxes that contained “key details”. Students evaluated the key details and then identified the “main topic” of the box. #great2exemplar #engagement #oxfordleads #firstgrade

First grade students worked in collaborative pairs to practice justifying their response if the text was fiction or nonfiction. Then, students worked independently to justify their answer in writing if an example text was fiction or nonfiction. #oxfordleads #great2exemplar
