Today in the Ky Leg, committees are acting on SB 8, to make the Ky Board of Education a partisan elected post, and HB 388, to make Louisville's local elections nonpartisan.

So ... we want partisan elections for schools statewide but nonpartisan elections inside Louisville? ^JC

Addressing a 139% increase in unsheltered Louisvillians by ramping up camp clearings is wrong - and counterproductive. Shelters are full. Moving people from camp to camp doesn’t provide shelter and makes service offerings more difficult. Clearings prolong homelessness.
