Harry, I’ve struggled with a stutter all of my life. Thank you for telling me about yours, and don’t let anyone tell you it will stop you from achieving your dreams.
I’m proud of you.
@KatrinaNation My heart goes out to you - I remember him as a brilliant professor at Princeton, who took time to help this anxious Russian history major figure out what to do after graduation. I am so very sorry.
@fidelioscabinet@mobydickenergy My mom and I have talked about her often; even before the pandemic, I have always admired my great-grandmother’s compassion and quiet courage.
@fidelioscabinet@mobydickenergy She was a sweet, humble person, and acted like it wasn’t a big deal; however, when she died, an unexpectedly large group of people came to her funeral to pay their respects and to tell my mom what her grandmother did.
Thinking of Christina-Taylor Green on her 21st birthday. A member of her student council and the only girl on her baseball team, she was robbed of so many milestones on that January day waiting to meet me. Her memory is a reminder of all the good we can do in the world if we try.
