It takes an awful lot of hypocrisy for any senior leader in this government to accuse anyone else of propaganda, deception and cronyism.
Journalists make mistakes. Call it out. But to suggest there is some sort financial quid pro quo with specific parties is utter rubbish.
@PierrePoilievre Pierre Poilievre can't vote in the Battle River-Crowfoot by-election. Bonnie Critchley can. Think about that for a second. 🤔 why would anyone from Alberta vote for a desperate, angry, petty little man from Ottawa. He is only in it for himself and always have been.
$1.28 billion in UCP waste.
The latest flip flop added $143 million in spending to the UCP's failed record.
The cost of this government keeps rising, and Albertans are paying the price.
A separate Alberta would be a poorer Alberta.
My latest for @TheHubCanada on the fiscal and economic fantasies of those promoting independence:

@cspotweet Everyone should walk away from a new oil pipeline as long as the oil industry is walking away from cleaning up 180,000 inactive wells.
Enforce #PolluterPay before taxpayers are subsidize forced to subsidize cleaning up tailings ponds & inactive wells.

How much is your #autoinsurance bill?
The Alberta UCP will oversee premium increases of 15% over 2 years with their ‘care-first’ model.
Even insurance companies are saying the new model will result in far higher premiums for Albertans.

The $1.5 Billion Well Cleanup Burdening Battle River-Crowfoot Riding.
https://t.co/UpDEUY89mw
"Landowners in the riding say abandoned wells make farming difficult and ruin their right to peaceful enjoyment of property."
In 2020, #Ottawa gave $1.7 billion to BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan to cover orphaned well cleanup costs. Alberta received $1 billion of this funding.
Trickle down economics that don't trickle! #CorporateWelfare #UCPFail
“Rather than spending the funds on more reclamation work, the major oil companies that undertake the bulk of the work are simply replacing their own spending with federal funding,” notes a 2020 report that calculates the money the federal government gave to the oil and gas industry that year."
"By adopting a polluters pay model, wherein industry is responsible for all cleanup costs, federal politicians might ensure money at all levels of government gets used to help #Alberta residents rather than oil companies." #BattleRiverCrowfoot #PollutersPay

The RCMP commissioner has written to the premier of Alberta to correct multiple falsehoods in the recent “Alberta Next” video on provincial policing.

1/ I was listening to folks on the CBC Alberta At Noon call-in show describe what they believe "Alberta culture" and "Alberta identity" to be.
It became clear fairly quickly that lots of folks have a sense of exceptionalism that has no basis whatsoever in reality or history.
9/ Albertans are no better than other Canadians, other North Americans.
The paradox is that because they want to believe they are, they are not.
When you pitch the idea that your virtue sets you apart when it so clearly does not, you can expect the rest of the country to
Absolute UCP incompetence.
Costing Albertans hundreds of millions of dollars.
Renewables moratorium cost $30billion plus.
They're not governing for Albertans.
UCP MLA who swore an oath to the king…
On his MLA stationary…
Calls for the abolition of the Monarchy, the Prime Minister a de facto King (what’s a premier then…?) and apparently the separation of Alberta from Canada.
An oath used to mean something.

Danielle Smith is claiming it was the media who mischaracterized the Jasper report.
When she was the one who called for it to be withdrawn and an apology issued.
