Sometimes (a lot of the time) being an educator is really hard but then there’s moments like today when you get a surprise visit from your favorite former student and he gives you the biggest hug and tells you how much he misses you and you ride that high for the rest of the day
I used to hate being the youngest person in my oncology office, now 5+ years out, I hope that means that another 24 year old girl isn’t getting life changing news. At least not today. At least not right now. And that’s a tiny cancer win.
