#ThrowbackThursday - I'm proud that #HB2459, a bill that I co-sponsored with @BevPingerelli and other colleagues, passed earlier this year on May 1st.

#HB2459 is a bill that addresses corruption in our school districts by limiting the positions in which a school district may employ people who served as members of the school district's governing board during the preceding two years to only positions in which the person will provide services directly to students. It also allows school districts to increase the period of the limitation to more than two years if they so desire.

Serving as the Vice Chairman of the House Education committee has been a blessing and an honor. I look forward to continuing my service to the people of Arizona throughout 2024.

Arizona House Republicans Call for Governor & Attorney General to Enforce Constitution in Court to Protect Arizona Border, Not Joe Biden

All 31 members of the @AZHouseGOP Majority Caucus signed a letter written by State Representative @DaveMarshallAZ calling on Governor Katie Hobbs and Attorney General Kris Mayes to take executive action to protect the state from the crisis at Arizona’s southern border.

“The continued lawlessness at our border will create long-lasting and devastating impacts on the welfare of our citizens and on our state’s economy and financial stability.
