Portsmouth is united against the far right, who use racism, misogyny, homophobia and transphobia to try to threaten and intimidate anyone who doesn't agree with them.
Expect music, poetry, speeches, and great vibes!
Bring placards, banners, flags, instruments, friends & family.
Has anyone noticed that we're in the midst of a far-right "Great British National Strike"?
No? Me neither.
There is absolutely zero evidence of it having any impact whatsoever.

@Hectorsempire@owenjonesjourno That's weird because that pretty much describes me.
But also:
I don't pick on minorities.
I hate bigotry.
I love my country, but I'm also an internationalist.
I support workers' rights.
I don't tug my forelock to the billionaire class.
Etc.
@TRobinsonNewEra Lies and propaganda. The march was organised by the sieg heiling fascist Nick Tenconi. The people opposing him are anti-fascists. Just like your grandparents were in WWII against Hitler's Nazis.
The Trump administration has the audacity to call Renee Good, murdered in cold blood by an ICE agent, a "domestic terrorist."
She absolutely was not a domestic terrorist, but Trump is.
Portsmouth fascists (whose supporters have been filmed giving Nazi salutes) have invited racist and fascist groups from across the south coast to march in Portsmouth on Sunday.
Join the counter-demo and show them that they do not represent our proudly multicultural city.
This takes place today.
Following the racist knife attack against men, women, and children outside the Jami Mosque in Portsmouth last Sunday, it is all the more important that we stand up to racism and fascism in our city.
Hope to see you there.
A weekend of resistance to the far-right.

The tediously relentless campaign of bullying, intimidation and harassment organised by the far-right against asylum seekers returns this Friday.
Last week the fascist Nick Tenconi made the news for throwing a nazi salute there.
Please join the counter-demo if you possibly can.
@NickTenconi Doing a nazi salute in a naval town that was bombed heavily in the Blitz, not far from the D-Day Museum and war memorials? What a disrespectful nazi prick.
So-called 'Portsmouth Patriots' invited fascist Nick Tenconi to their hate-fest outside accommodation for asylum seekers recently. Whereupon he did a nazi salute and immediately shat on the memories of those who died in this city in the Blitz. Disrespectful scumbags.
UKIPโs Nick Tenconi bravely re-enacts historyโs worst moments outside a hotel housing asylum seekers. Nothing says โpatriotโ like a Nazi salute on the streets of a country that fought and defeated fascism.
Now is not the time to be silent. Our government must end its complicity in genocide. Sanctions now. Arms embargo now. End the surveillance flights over Gaza. Stop training the IDF. Stop giving the Israeli government diplomatic cover. Action, not just words.
