Just prior to Christmas, Bexhill CC said a fond farewell to our good friend Guru, the powerhouse known to us all as *‘G’* 💙🏏

G has headed back to India, where he plans (tongue firmly in cheek!) to pass on his vast cricketing knowledge to Indian head coach *Gautam Gambhir* – his HERO!! 🔥

Thank you, G, for everything you’ve given to the club: the runs, the energy, the laughs, and the passion. You’ll be missed around the ground, but this is very much au revoir, not goodbye.

We wish you all the very best and Bexhill CC can’t wait to welcome you back in the future 🙌

🏏 Winning start to 2026 for Bexhill CC Indoor B! 🏏

A fantastic opening result as Bexhill Cricket Club Indoor B Team got their 2026 campaign off to the perfect start, beating Crowhurst Park CC Indoor B by 19 runs.

🔥 Felix Holland led the charge with the bat, top scoring with a sobering 28 runs off just 13 balls, setting the tone for a strong all-round team performance.

A great effort from everyone involved. Plenty to build on as the year gets underway! 💪

🏏 Bexhill CC 2nd XI – Season Reflection 🏏

Despite the very best efforts of every player, our young and inexperienced Bexhill CC 2nd XI have unfortunately suffered relegation from Division 7 East this season.

Under the excellent leadership of captain Adam Smith, ably supported by the ever-prolific Steve Phillimore, the side showed resilience, commitment and togetherness throughout the campaign. Steve’s role as an inspiring mentor was invaluable, particularly for the many players experiencing their first season of senior cricket.

The end-of-season results brought disappointment, but the character shown in difficult moments speaks volumes. The experience gained this year will undoubtedly prove invaluable and lay strong foundations for the future cricketing careers of these young players.

This team will learn, grow, and come back stronger. 💙
