@Alan_Couzens I disagree. Most people primarily want structure and accountability whilst maintaining a love for their sport. This might be different for elite athletes who treat training as a job/career, but 98% of people who have a coach fit the above mentioned category.

Just finished Range by @DavidEpstein and it's one of the best books I have read. It feels like the kind of book that leaves you with more questions than answers (incredibly thought provoking!), and then when you inevitably read the book again, you get those answers.
