the struggle truly is that no matter how WE feel about our bodies— the culture around gender is so deep in everything that very few will perceive us as we are. i dont have dysphoria bc of my body, i have dysphoria bc of others forcing their gendered view of my body onto me.
For anyone upset about Sony’s move to end physical media,
I’d suggest heavily supporting Stop Killing Games
This initiative is literally fighting to protect exactly what these companies want to destroy. It aims to force publishers to ensure you can always access and play the games you paid for—even after they stop supporting them
"People don't want critique"
We live in a capitalist hellscape that sees the policing of everything, even hobbies, as something that could be done better for productivity and the appreciation of a larger audience and people are tired of being told to be better while having fun.
would it kill people to realize that “people who want to just have fun and do something that isn’t that serious” and “people who want to take writing seriously, improve and create really good stories” can coexist in the same hobby?
The fear of Satanic imagery is fascinating to me. The Bible has always described the Devil as subtle, speaking sweetly, even beautifully. Still, Christians mistrust very blatant, artistic metaphors featuring Satanic imagery, and NEVER question the intensions of their charismatic religious or political leaders.
The Devil is never described to have horns or a pointy tail. The Devil comes offering everything you've ever wanted. The Devil is called the "accuser of our brethren". With that in mind, would divisiveness and bigotry not be more evidence of evil than someone using evil as metaphor?
None of it makes any sense to me lol
