In what was our second league game of the season sadly we came up short.

A game of few chances that weren’t taken and they made us pay.

We take the positives from the game as we feel that we controlled the majority but individual errors cost us in the end.

In our next fixture, we travel away to early table toppers, Wokingham Wanderers.

It’s seeming to be a really competitive game to test the lads as we continue our positive start to the season!

This morning we restarted our season with an away game against Bracknell Bisons.

Even in very wet conditions the boys dominated the game from start to finish, moving the ball quickly, took our chances and backing each other for a full 90.

We start our season (again) in an away fixture to Bracknell Bisons

The lads took on their reserves in pre season and will be looking to do the same and bring home those all important 3 points.

In what could be our last pre-season friendly we took on a side in Bracknell Hibs that we didn’t really know much about.

Luckily on a hot Sunday morning we cracked open the 7up and kept the team hydrated throughout the game.

We ended up being 1-0 winners after some questionable referee choices and low light but it’s more minutes in the tank for the boys.

Shout out Bisons for giving us a game at short notice.

So.. Wednesday just gone we thought of a great idea. Let’s plan a friendly instead of training! Was it a good idea? Yeah, kind of.

We played Bracknell Bisons Res at what can only be described as the telly tubby hills, Newbold College.

Last night we took on AB United Reserves at late notice and a change of venue due to our pitch being double booked!

We ran out 3-1 winners at the final whistle after a tough gritty game.

So we took on @BraybrookeAFC today in nothing short of a field of heat 🤣☀️

In a pretty end to end game and going 3-1 down, it finished in a draw.

More minutes in the tank for the season which is fast approaching!

This Sunday we take on @BraybrookeAFC in our next pre-season friendly, we played them a few months back when we first formed and they came out on top.

Hopefully the tide has changed and we can get the W 🌊

In an overall good performance from the boys we run out 4-0 winners and @Webb1993 gets the bragging rights until next time!
