BF22-062 — Ioan Christian Moise

Moise groomed a 14-year-old girl and maintained contact with her before arranging to spend several days together at a Northamptonshire hotel in January 2021.
Police launched an investigation after concerns were reported by the girl’s family, leading to Moise admitting 12 offences connected to his exploitation of the child.

Birch abused his position as a high school music teacher to target and sexually exploit multiple vulnerable female pupils between 2004 and 2017. Birch gained the trust of the girls by presenting himself as a source of support before committing a series of sexual offences, including rapes and other sexual activity carried out in school settings, his vehicle and private addresses.

Degnan sexually exploited a female child victim over a period of approximately 16 months after initiating contact with her in 2019.

Degnan engaged in repeated sexual activity with the girl and was also convicted of breaching his sex offender notification requirements, having previously been subject to registration requirements following earlier child sexual offence convictions.

Hussain, already serving a 17-year sentence arising from Operation Tendersea, admitted the attempted rape of a teenage girl in the Huddersfield area between 2004 and 2007. The offence formed part of a wider investigation into the historical sexual exploitation of vulnerable teenage girls, resulting in an additional prison sentence being imposed on top of his existing term.

Goodall groomed a 12-year-old girl in Australia over a period of more than a year after initiating contact online and moving conversations onto private messaging and video platforms. He used affection and threats to manipulate the child into sexual activity over video calls, while police enquiries also uncovered indecent images of children and breaches of an existing Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
