This would be a strike maybe 1% of the time (at most) in AAA/MLB. The human element there is just different. We are talking about a ball, maybe a ball and a half off the plate at AAA/MLB. Not IN the other batter’s box as seen here. There are levels to this madness.

Perhaps the solution lies in letting the hitters use longer bats? The real interesting takeaway here is that trackman wasn't being used tonight. The game *only* had 15 BBs. Could this all be a ploy by MLB to get us to stop complaining about umps 😂
