Hello, my name is Jesse Anderson, aka IllegallySighted on many areas of the Internet. I am a technology, gaming, and XR accessibility advocate & consultant.
Building on my Profile, I am a legally blind technology and game accessibility advocate interested in speaking, consulting, and testing app/software, game, and VR accessibility. Please feel free to DM me with questions, podcast/article interviews, or consulting/testing requests.
@MrBrokenEyes I hope so. I've been following this game for quite a while as a low vision player, but if extra audio cues are there, that should be helpful too. And I want more people to be able to play more games.
@appleinsider But these technology companies have it so hard you know. They have to jack up prices of all their hardware and services because what else could they do?
@TiredAndOnFire I would love to see a sequel, but have it focus more on the Zelda style gameplay, rather than the real time strategies stuff it leaned into after the first couple hours. I'm guessing the rights to all the metal songs for a soundtrack would also be quite expensive.
Yes! I don't like having to hunt all over just to look for a price for a product or service. I know some companies want you to contact them, so they can give you their sales pitch, but just post the price please.
I really fucking hate "Contact us for pricing." Just put the fucking price online. I don't want to waste your time and don't want you to waste mine. Let me know up front if it's in my budget. There is literally no reason for us to interact until I know what it costs.
Surprise! Surprise! The entire Games for Blind Gamers team will be giving a talk at this year‘s US Game Accessibility Conference. The entire team is excited for you to experience our talk! There will be plenty of blueberry muffins, if you know, you know, lol.
We need your voice! The Audio Description Project (ADP) is launching a survey to capture the real-world experiences of blind and low vision consumers using popular streaming services.

The survey closes TODAY, Monday, Aug 31st!
A corporate themed over the top brawler? I'm not quite sure how to describe today's game video, but it's quite fun and amusing: https://t.co/e7XUlOhGJX
@joshstifter I watched RoboCop at about nine or 10 years old. But I also used to watch the original nightmare in Elm Street with my babysitter when I was about six or seven, and even back then we would laugh at some of the cheesy parts.

In the iOS 27 beta, does anyone know how to make it stop randomly putting punctuation in everywhere? Auto punctuation under keyboard is no longer there, and it's driving me nuts.
@properdipwad Oddly, I didn't have too much trouble with that cord. But bar chords and quickly moving up and down the neck playing lead stuff was a lot harder for me. I actually started teaching myself drums about a decade ago, and surprisingly am better at that than I ever was a guitar.
@RowanEdmondson I thought it looked impressive overall, and I'm intrigued about both the gameplay and story. As a legally blind player though, I just don't know if I'll be able to play it, unless they include Some Accessibility features that haven't been in the series before.
Cool, I didn't realize they supported Kindle now. I did write to them a while back to see if they could integrate Bookshare support too, but so far I don't think they have.
ElevenReader now allows users to access books from their Kindle libraries and have them read aloud using AI-generated voices. The service includes a free tier with up to 10 hours of listening per month, an unlimited option for reading personal files, and complimentary access for NFB members through the ElevenReader Impact program. Support for braille displays and navigation through a book’s table of contents is still limited however. https://t.co/N36dYT6plV
