The Tiny Shelter built by Westdale students is outside the Handmade House in Dundas this evening. HATS & The Handmade House are having a fundraiser tonight, 10% of all purchases are going to the HATS initiative to finding solutions to homelessness in Hamilton.

At HWDSB, we are pleased that the Council of Trustees’ Association and the Government of Ontario have successfully negotiated a tentative settlement on central terms of a collective agreement with Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) education workers. 1/3
This means that HWDSB schools will return to in-person learning on Monday, November 21, 2022. In addition to our focus on student achievement, well-being, and safety, we place a high priority on our relationship with staff, including CUPE caretakers and maintenance workers. 2/3
