@CoachRethman@Kwen_C For sure. I’m indifferent about the hire. I just think people saying he’s had success everywhere he’s been isn’t entirely true. I’m more concerned with the Browns ownership and FO than Monken. Monken can only do so much with what he’s given.
@HauntingSteak@Kwen_C He was, in his one winning season with the team. I’m not here to pile on the guy. I don’t hate the hire. But to say he’s won everywhere he’s been is a stretch. The Bucs went 19-29 with him as their OC
@CoachRethman@Kwen_C He needed to leave the NFL to find some success which I think was a good move for him. I know the Dawgs would love to have him back. UGA and Baltimore had a lot of talent on those rosters. Not saying he won’t be good, but I’m intrigued to see how he does with less.
@titos_tom@FKANorm@MattGalatzan It’s not the end all be all, but it’s a factor. Earlier in the year a lot of Texas fans were leaning on the OSU loss because it’s a good loss, y’all played them tough. Florida was the killer
@NashTalksTexas Nash, there’s no guarantee it would have mattered if y’all had scheduled Rice instead of OSU. Y’all would be in the same group you are now with ND, Vandy, Miami and Utah
@MattGalatzan It wouldn’t necessarily matter if Texas had scheduled Rice instead of OSU. They’d still be on the cut line with the other two loss teams like ND, Vandy, Miami, and Utah
@titos_tom@FKANorm@MattGalatzan Not necessarily. Say Texas scheduled Rice instead of OSU. That would be a big hit to SOS and SOR for one less loss. IMO you’d be in a similar boat as the other two loss teams (ND, Vandy, Miami, Utah). They’re all on the cut line.
