क्या मोदी अब चीन का डटकर सामना कर पाएंगे?

जो लोग पाकिस्���ान को पानी के लिए तरसाने के लिए सिंधु नदी का पानी रोकने की बात करते हैं, उन्हें यह समझना चाहिए कि उत्तर भारत से लेकर पूर्वोत्तर तक बहने वाली सभी प्रमुख नदियाँ चीन (तिब्बत) से निकलती हैं। चिनाब, झेलम, सिंध, सतलुज, ब्यास, गंगा-यमुना से लेकर ब्रह्मपुत्र तक सभी चीन से ही आती हैं।

1996 से पहले, कांग्रेस सरकारों ने कभी भी तिब्बत पर चीन के आधिकारिक दावे को मान्यता नहीं दी; इसके बजाय, उन्होंने वहाँ के कब्ज़े को अवैध माना था। हालाँकि, जब अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी की 13 दिन की भाजपा सरकार सत्ता में आई, तो वह दौड़ते हुए चीन पहुंच गये और उन्होंने चीन के दावे को स्वीकार कर लिया था। बाद में 2003 में उनकी सरकार ने इस रुख को आधिकारिक रूप से मंजूरी दे दिया था।

अब, वही चीन चेतावनी दे रहा है कि अगर पाकिस्तान के हिस्से का एक भी बूंद पानी रोका गया, तो वह भारत को कभी न भूलने वाला सबक सि��ाएगा; चीन का कहना है कि भारत का ऐसा कदम मानवता का उल्लंघन होगा—जिसे वह बर्दाश्त नहीं करेगा। प्रधानमंत्री @narendramodi का नाम लेकर चीन यह बात सार्वजनिक तौर पर कह रहा है। तभी डरी हुई @BJP4India @RSSorg अब पाकिस्तान से बात करने के लिए गिड़गिड़ा रहे हैं।

He was elected for two exceptional terms (he was assassinated in beginning of the second term.) He was one of the most respected and impactful Presidents in the history of the United States 🇺🇸.

It's important to tell this story of perseverance because we see the hero, but we don't see the backstage of the afflictions. "
